Emergency First Response
Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations.
This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses:
1: Emergency First Response - Primary Care
2: Emergency First Response - Secondary Care
Together, these courses provide extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing optional (yet recommended) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen sections.
What do you need to begin? There is no minimum age and no dive certification is required.
What is included within the Course? The course is conducted over one day in a classroom environment and includes professional instruction and emergency role plays. Student course materials as the EFR Manual and reference guide and Certification is included.
Where can you go after completing this program? The EFR is the perfect CPR training course if partnered with a Rescue Diver Program. The two courses compliment each other exceptionally well. It is a prerequisite for those enrolling on a Rescue course to hold current CPR or ERF certification.
When can you start? We run EFR Courses on a daily basis so you can start as soon as you are ready.
